WIFE OF LYLE TILLOTSON DIES
Mrs. Addie Monroe Babbitt Tillotson, 85, Wife of Lyle Tillotson,
677 Mill Street, died about 2 p.m. Tuesday, at her home.
The funeral will be at the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, at 2 p.m.
Friday, Reverand Harold H. Barnard, pastor of the Adams Methodist
Church officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetary, Rodman.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7
to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Tillotson is survived by her Husband, and four
children. Three daughters, Mrs. Chancey (Retia) Clark,
Rodman; Mrs. Leon (Bertha) Prouty, Adams, R.D.; Mrs, Rolla
(Hazel) Loveland, Adams; and one son Clifford Babbitt, Mexico,
R.D. One son Myron Babbitt died December 12, 1959.
Born May 2, 1874, at Worth, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
James Monroe. She attended the district schools in the
area. On October 16, 1893, she was married to Hadley
Babbitt, Rodman. He died December 1, 1932. She lived
at Rodman about 50 years, and on September 20, 1940, she married
Lyle Tillotson. She had lived in Watertown since October
1940.
